Who I Am
I am a retired high school teacher who ended up with tons and tons of clutter in my house, my garage, my storage shed, and my yard when I brought home two classrooms full of “stuff” from school as well as all the “stuff” my aunt and my mother left behind when they died at the age of 93 and 95 respectively. After being challenged to take everything out of my home from a coach and remodeling my home, the next step was to keep myself on task; and I chose to do so by setting up a Facebook page on which I shared tips on how to declutter one’s environment titled “The Declutter Queen.”
What I Do
Decluttering Today is the home page for all blogs and products that I have produced since becoming involved in the whole decluttering process. It serves as a resource for clutterbugs in addition to The Declutter Queen Facebook page on which I post short hints at least four days a week.
Why I Do It
After teaching in the public schools for 38 years, I still have an itch to help others become the best they can be, particularly in the areas of their homes, offices, and cars. Other environments for which I provide information on the how’s, why’s, and wherefore’s of decluttering (although not in as much depth as the physical) are relationships, beliefs, financial, nature, body, spiritual, networks, self, and beliefs.
